Process mapping has become increasingly important in our daily work. It is used as a
way of conceptualising and communicating complex activities in an abstract, visual and concise
manner. Process maps are also paramount for any process improvement initiative, system
implementation and other changes. This workshop is targeted to those who want to learn how
processes are structured, defined and represented using diagramming methodologies, software
tools and process templates.

This challenging one-day program is targeted to practitioners keen to learn how to
review processes applying a mix of techniques, tools and methodologies. This session introduces
a methodology known as ‘8 Steps to Tango’ which sequentially and uniquely steps through
process reviews stages that can be applied to any organisation. This program was inspired by
various process improvement methodologies initially designed for the manufacturing industry
(BPR, BPI, Six Sigma, Lean, BPM, TQM and Kaizen, amongst others) but practically applied to the
government, education and other service sectors.
